Don't You Just Hate That! A small book for the lunchroom.
Sometimes great thoughts come in small packages. So it is with "Don't you just hate that?" by Scott Cohen. Since my job as a professional speaker and consultant on Customer Service and Communications is often to point out the obvious that gets lost in the day to day, I picked up this little gem at Barnes and Noble.
Mr. Cohen certainly nailed a few of my personal pet peeves ( noted below in this blog.) Managers, go pick up this quick book at put it in your office lunch room. See what happens as employees look at each other and yes, laugh at the little things in life that drive us crazy. Note: Let this be the first of many little quick books you keep in your lunch/break room to stimulate conversation, communication and a positive workplace! Building morale is often the little things a manager does including creating a lunchroom with laughter.
