At least Costa Rica's beautiful rain forests will be spared Gov. Rod Blagojevich, due to passport issues, however I must admit when I heard, that a celebrity reality show was coming to Costa Rica and would be called "Get me out of here". I thought to myself "There goes the neighborhood". We will have a Baldwin Brother and the former American Idol Star with Mohawk hair styling. The monkeys will be curious.
I have spent more than 14 years reassuring my family and friends that my move to Costa Rica was in fact safer than living in many U.S. Cities; Yes, I went to and trained in Survivor Skills and ended up writing a book about it "Go Wild! Survival Skills for Business and Life" . However day to day life in Costa Rica is such an incredibly, tranquil existence that I just know a reality show entitled "Get me out of here" is certain to bring back the fears of my family and friends and Hello! What about tourists?
The vision of enchanting hikes through Costa Rica's breathtaking rain forests will most certainly be replaced in pop conversations by how the celebs on "Get Me Out of Here" handled the most extreme conditions designed by the producers and not at all realistic . I can picture my friends and family calling "Rosemary, let's get you out of there, we had no idea". Meanwhile I will be sitting on my balcony with a cool ice tea and writing a blog on my wireless internet".
Reality shows ....how real are they? Get a Life!
PS: Two of the Celebrity Contestants, not to be named on "Get me Out of Here" have asked for a copy of my audio book "Go Wild! Survival Skills for Business and Life". Well, that just wouldn't be right and besides the book speaks about ethics in all games in life, including the jungle. I don't think with that information they would get the ratings.
