Residency Renewal in Costa Rica--Now Much Easier
I just returned from having my permanent residency in Costa Rica renewed for 2 years for a small administrative fee of 38,000 colones or approximately $70.00. I must say the residency process got a whole lot easier, thanks to the administration of renewals now being handled by Banco Costa Rica.
A simple appointment via phone and efficient 30 minute processing is certainly a 200% improvement over prior years that entailed endless all day waiting at immigration.
