Evenings are for Reflection of the Beauty that is Costa Rica
There is just something about a Costa Rica Sunset. I have to tell you I never got this enchanted feeling while driving in traffic on Interstate 95 outside of New Jersey. Note: I did get close, driving at sunset outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico and recalled my understanding why Frieda Kahlo and her artist friends created such amazing works of art inspired by nature.
Whether you're hanging out at one of Costa Rica's pristine beaches or Keeping Cool in the Central Valley Mountains, Sunset is the Evening's Featured Presentation in our tropical paradise, telling your mind, body and spirit to "put it away for the day" and reflect on the beauty of living in such an amazing country. Sometimes the highlight of the day is an encounter with nature--Barry and I ran across a new butterfly we had not seen before yesterday, or perhaps it's an "unusual meeting with another traveler " . Last week for example I met a visiting business executive who , every time he comes to Costa Rica, has his driver take him to the local "Hypermas" where he loads up on supplies, food and toys and brings them to a church that services families in need. He does it quietly on his own. He does it because he's doing business here and wanted to give back to Costa Rica.
So as you look at the evening sunset and enjoy mother earth's amazing gift this evening; reflect on the lesson from our traveling business executive who took time to not only be in Costa Rica, but to give back to her.
